Position Summary 

Campus Coordinators (CCs) serve as a site-level administrative team member and manage site logistics and organization. CCs support site level operations such as summer deliverables, essential daily systems and on-site events. CCs work closely with Site Directors, Program Directors, site volunteers and Central Office Staff to ensure an Aim High site runs smoothly and delivers high quality programming & events.

This is a six-week position: one week of faculty training and five weeks supporting the learning of middle school students. All Aim High summer staff also have the opportunity to participate in online training before the start of the summer program. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  •  Manage Summer Deliverables:
    • Oversee student database entries and edit for accuracy
    • Manage the collection of student forms and data
    • Monitor and return all borrowed materials from the central office
    • Work with Site Directors and Program Directors on end of summer clean up and storage
    • Work with Site Directors on implementing and collecting all end of summer surveys for students and families
    • Manage office and classroom supplies
  • Oversee essential daily systems:
    • Oversee daily student attendance and family follow up
    • Monitor site technology (laptops, tablets, etc.) and technology check-out procedures
    • Daily supervision of the distribution of summer food (breakfast, lunch and/or snack)
    • Support and manage volunteers
    • Provide logistical support for all academic classes and afternoon activities
    • Familia liaison with daily communication
  • Event Planning and Logistics:
    • Work with Site Directors on coordinating all family events and cultural activities
    • Work with Site Directors and central office staff in coordinating all student field trips including arranging transportation, lunch, trip confirmation, etc.


  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, strong candidates currently in college will be considered.
  • Responsible, organized, detail-oriented, able to take initiative and work independently.
  • Possess strong written and  verbal communication skills and a desire to develop leadership skills.
  • Working knowledge of office productivity software (Google Suite, Microsoft Office).
  • Skilled at establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with others.
  • Prior Aim High experience is a plus.
  • Bilingual in Cantonese and/or Spanish is a plus.

Compensation and Schedule: 

  • This is an hourly position of $20 to $30 per hour.
  • This is a full time, non-exempt position for the six weeks of the program:
    • Program dates in San Francisco, Oakland, Richmond, Novato, San Rafael and East Palo Alto are June 13 through July 22.
    • Program dates in Napa and Tahoe/Truckee are June 27 through August 5.
  • This position is expected to work during the general hours of 8am to 4pm and up to three family evening events.
